It can sometimes be difficult for Selphids to aquire new bodies, which they constantly need due to degradation and decomposition. Most people or their families don't want to sell their bodies to be used by Selphids. Thus, body brokers whose job is to delicately negotiate for deceased corpses are known to be present in most cities. Body brokers are given a fee to take bodies to their Selphid clients.<ref name=":4" />
