== Overview == The team consists of nearly twenty strong adventurers, an irregularity among most adventurer teams, which tended towards small sizes, but these were paid by the Healer to protect her. Due to their number they had achieved Named-rank status as a team, and with their leader, Merdon, who was a Named-rank adventurer himself, they occupied and guarded the gates to the inner city of Tenbault were the Healer lived, from the countless people seeking the Healer. They are a law unto their own, and unlike normal cityβs [Guards], they let no one in, no matter the bribe. They even hire [Mercenaries] to supplemented them, and normally leave it to the [Mercenary]-[Guards] dealt with the crowds. It's when someone pushed past the first rank of mercenaries towards them that they intervene, by using lethal force and kill anyone who tried to get through. Only those who have a pass may come through. Anyone else, even members of the [[Five Families]] (except for [[Magnolia Reinhart|Magnolia]]), get turned away without a pass. Another part of their job is to track the winners of the lottery for the pass, and fight anyone who had mugged them.<ref name=": 8.00">[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/01/10/8-00/ Chapter 8.00]</ref>
