Silvaria later suffered from a plague, which threatened the kingdom with starvation. One city managed to fare well thanks to Perril Chandler, now a Wistram graduate and High Mage, who had the undead till the fields in place of the sick laborers. This caught the attention of King Redoris, who asked Perril to aid the rest of Silvaria. Perril and his apprentices spread their undead servants, allowing Silvaria to weather the crisis better than other nations.

Later, when four nations waged a war against the Dawn Concordat, Lady Bea led a force to aid them with King Redoris' blessing. This would lead to the famous stand of the Archmage of Death at Krawlnmak’s Pass. With a now-famous Archmage, Silvaria's reputation and power grew, and led a counterattack on the northern coalition of then eight kingdoms. Its army was joined by a relief army of Drakes and Golems led by Archmage Zelkyr, Perril's friend. The northern coalition was forced to sign a peace treaty.

Later there was an event called the Uprisings of Left, where wealthier farmers employing undead labor objected to several increased taxes. The army's attempts to quell the rebellion only increased their numbers, as they were joined by [Soldiers] whose pay had been reduced due to Archmage Chandler's reputation preventing wars and conflicts for Silvaria. King Redoris mobilized a grand force of Silvaria's best forces loyal to him to crush the rebellion. Perril Chandler intervened to prevent a massacre by challenging the rebels to single combat. The rebels dispersed rather than answer the Archmage's challenge, and Perril then personally appealed for their clemency and to reduce the burden of the taxes.
