==Personality==
Little is known about the sleeping demigod, but after enduring a ''long and painful'' slumber for over eighty thousand years, she is desperate to awaken. To that end, she has birthed countless monsters and horrors—creatures she calls her ''dreams''. Intolerant of disloyalty, she tried to destroy her own creations, the Antinium, when they rebelled to seal her. She created Crelers to devour nations and fuel her power through worship, making it clear that she is willing to sacrifice anything and anyone to hasten her awakening.<ref name=":1">{{VERef|9.50}}</ref> Yet, despite her hunger for freedom, the sleeping demigod is also prideful—when the [[Kasigna|Three-in-One]] offered to wake her in exchange for servitude, she refused, unwilling to bow to another even at the chance of her own liberation.<ref name=":2">{{VERef|9.66}}</ref>

==Background==
At the dawn of the world, during the war against the gods, the being who would become the sleeping demigod was struck down by a terrible blow, and buried deep into the earth.<ref>{{VERef|8.80}}</ref> Overlooked by the [[Gnomes|Gnomes]], the demigod remained asleep for countless ages, until she discovered that she could manifest her dreams and nightmares into the real world.<ref name=":1" />

In a time preceding creation of the Antinium and Crelers, the [[Lucifen|Infernal Court]] previously served as the guardians for the sleeping demigod, until they were exiled from Rhir for their depravities. 

When the Antinium rebelled and started hunting down the sleeping demigod's "rogue dreams," she retaliated by creating the Crelers, which emerged from Rhir, kick-starting the [[Creler Wars]]. During this time, an army of millions of Antinium led by the First Queen and the Centenium sought to slay her.  Though they failed, the First Queen sacrificed herself to silence the demigod, while the other Antinium destroyed the temples that the Crelers had built to worship her.<ref name=":3">{{VERef|9.33}}</ref> 

After thousands of years of stalemate against the sleeping god, the Antinium decided to create an overseas base to increase their strength, leading to the [[First Antinium War|First]] and [[Second Antinium War|Second Antinium Wars]] in [[Izril]].

After learning about the sleeping demigod from [[Zineryr]], Erin informed Klbkch and Xrn of its background and potential weaknesses.<ref name=":3" />

Sensing Kasigna's presence and feeling more awake since the beginning, the sleeping demigod began dreaming of a new nightmare in anticipation of awakening.<ref name=":1" />

During the Winter Solstice, Kasigna sent an aspect of herself to negotiate with the sleeping demigod for her service. When the demigod refused, Kasigna tried to kill her, but she survived, and ordered an Elder Creler and its kin to attack the Three-in-One.<ref name=":2" />

After the [Palace of Fates] started to collapse, armies of Crelers began escaping from worlds where the Creler Wars were lost, under the command of Elder Crelers worshipping the demigod, whom they called "She Who Sleeps."<ref>{{VERef|10.35 - Pt. 2}}</ref>   

==Powers and Abilities==
Even in her weakened, slumbering state—crippled by the Gnomes' trick, which sealed away all knowledge of the gods—the sleeping demigod remains one of the most powerful beings in Innworld. She can warp reality with her thoughts and presence, and is the source of corruption in Rhir and its inhabitants. She is also largely immune to both magic and physical force.<ref name=":4" /> Like the other gods, she is strengthened by every person who has knowledge of her; combined with the fact that she still retains her physical form, her strength matches or even exceeds that of the other six dead gods, despite being a "half-deity." The Antinium, largely considered the most powerful nation in the world, can barely keep her contained. Her brief moments of stirring are powerful enough to eradicate multiple Hives.<ref name=":3" /><ref name=":5" />

* Due to lack of knowledge of gods, the sleeping demigod was assumed to be a full god by the Antinium.
** In [[Chapter 7.25]], when Ryoka was listing the major dangers of the world, including that "[a] God sleeps on Rhir," [[Teriarch]] would refute that point, claiming that "you are wrong about one thing. Rhir. That is not a- your understanding is incomplete."
** It is later confirmed by [[Zineryr]] in [[Chapter 8.80]] that the "Sleeping God" is a female demigod.
* It is implied that the demigod's father is [[Tamaroth]], as [[Cauwine]] called the demigod her half-sister.<ref>{{VERef|9.65}}</ref>
