== Synopsis == The Kraken's Horn is traversing the ocean depths, tens of thousands of leagues away from the nearest port. Its crew had been trawling for sunken wrecks on their way to a Drake port city on Izril's south-eastern coast. [Captain] Tugrim and [First Mate] Rendala argue in hushed voices on the ship's deck, going back and forth on how to handle a problematic situation regarding a pregnant crew member, who had hidden her condition from her crewmates. She is on the verge of giving birth; the act of which could draw in dangerous beasts attracted to the noise and blood. Rendala argues that Tugrim needs to look after their crewmate, regardless of the situation, and surface to look for a [Healer]. Tugrim feels pulled in two directions; he has a duty to look after the wellfare of both his crew who need gold and the pregnant [Sailor] who may not be able to survive a complicated Drowned Folk birthing. He swiftly agrees with Rendala: they must surface. Before he can give the orders, a disturbance of light approaches the Kraken's Horn. Alarmed, the two sneak towards the wheel only for the [Sailor] manning it to inform them that he is unable to avoid the approaching light. A submarine breaches the magical bubble ward and a Human man, Ad, comes aboard to greet them. Captain Ad, with his piercing gaze, claims that he felt he had been needed. He tells them that he is an [Obstetrician] with a Skill that informed him that a pregnant woman is aboard their ship. He promptly offers to help deliver the baby, which the crew allow, hopeful that their crewmate would survive the ordeal. After a successful birthing, a Drowned child is born with a beak, tentacles, and scales. The crew are grateful to Ad, and try to offer him renumeration. Before they can continue, shouts from abovedecks announce the approach of a Leviathan three times bigger than their ship. Rendala rushes for the steering wheel and gas petal to have the Kraken's Horn surface as quickly as possible. Ad simply enters his submarine and faces the Leviathan down. He speaks to it calmly, ordering it to back off. Instead, the gargantuan creature swallows the submarine whole. Shortly, Ad kills the beast with explosions from the inside. Ad meets the Kraken's Horn on the surface, alongside the Leviathan corpse. He has no need of the corpse, and allows the crew to take it. They would haul in a large amount of gold from selling the Leviathan's corpse, its ivory teeth alone were quite valuable. Ad bids them farewell and disappears back down into the ocean's depths.
