== Background ==
The tribe had six Great Goblins or Fomirelins, one of whom was named Kerra, and their Chieftain was a [Mage]. The tribe suffered annual raids from [[Ogres|Ogre]] clans until their Chieftain led his best fighters to the Ogre clan's bases on the hills. As the fighting progressed, it was halted by the intervention of a [[Giants|Giant]], the "Keeper of the Valley".

The Giant ordered them to stop the raiding. For decades, the Valley Pact Tribe lived in peace with Ogres, [[Trolls]], and even a [[Cyclopes]], as well as other, rarer species. The peace ended when a vast coalition of [[Humans|Human]] armies from over a dozen kingdoms, including [Knights], marched on the hidden valley. The Keeper of the Valley called all his children to him and asked if they would fight with him. He ordered the single Cyclopes to take the children of each race away from the Valley.

As Kerra tore through a line of armored Humans, she saw as a Human threw a spear like the night itself upwards, killing the Keeper of the Valley. In her distraction, a Human killed her.<ref name=":0" />
