Xil used to be part of [[Nerrhavia's Fallen]]'s army before he was dishonourably discharged, and fought for them as a mercenary. Afterwards, he went to Pomle to challenge the first Strongest, [[Collos]], to settle their rivalry from Pomle's war for independence. Xil then stayed in Pomle, becoming one of its masters of martial arts.<ref name=":0">[https://wanderinginn.com/2023/01/31/9-35-o/ Chapter 9.35 O]</ref>
