Chapter 5.54

The Queen of the Armored Antinium, mostly known as Armored Queen, is the ruler of the Armored Antinium Hive.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

She is the largest of all of the queens on Izril. her body is bloated due to many births carried out before the queens of Izril learned how to birth Antinium using pods.[1]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Like the antinium beneath her, her personality is militant and direct. Though she can be easily distracted by managing her hive, interrupting ongoing conversations or tasks, for hours. [2] The Armored Queen is somewhat more radical than the other queens of the Hivelands (though less so than the Free Queen). She is one of the least skilled queens in terms of shaping Antinium forms which lead her to instead study metallurgy. Of all the queens she expressed the most initial interest in the Free Queens individual Antinium[2] . She even supported Anand's plan to build Antinium ships despite "...no Queen would have the time or insanity to try it, not after they had seen their species die at sea."(Klbkch)[3]

Background[edit | edit source]

The Armored Queen was one of the few antinium queens that survived the journey from Rhir to Izril. She and other older queens had to modify their bodies extensively to be able to birth other antinum.[4] This let the Armored Queen survive through the first and second antinum wars.

Her hive is specialized in metallurgy and crafting, learned through trial and error with the aid of reference books taken from the other species of Izril.
