The Blade of Mershi is a Relic-Class Artifact from a bygone era. It is currently owned by Lehra Ruinstrider.

The artifact is a single vambrace made of starmetal that is like silver, with a glittering jewel that is as black as night, with tiny glitters like the celestial bodies in the center.[1]

The Blade of Mershi, which is contained in the magical gauntlet, is the last relic of the Walled City of Stars, a long-lost Drake city, and it was used to belong to the legendary heroine, Mershi. It is a relic-class weapon that is powerful enough to promote a Silver-ranked Adventurer to Named-ranked directly. There are rumors that it is a key clue to greater treasures, such as the fabled Forge of the Star Dragon, an artifact or perhaps treasury of power belonging to Dragons.[1] The Blade is inhabited by the spirit of Saturniel Cometscale[2] who can sometimes speak to or even possess Lehra.[3]

Bearer Chooser edit edit source
The spirit in the artifact is able to choose who can use and activate its enchantments. Those not chosen will not be able to use it. In order to be chosen, the wielder must answer the spirit's question: "Who are our enemies?". The correct answer is "No one".[2] It is activated by rising the arm that it is worn on, and shouting the activation phrase.[1]

By shouting the activation phrase, the Artefact and bearer will glow in an instance light as it conjures and covers its bearer in the same starmetal armor as the vambrace. The armor consist of a smooth, segmented Drake’s armor, complete with a headpiece and a tailpiece.[1]
Weapon Conjuring edit edit source
In its active state, the bearer can manifest several different weapons, which include, but may not be limited to, a sword and shield, a spear, and a halberd. The spear can pierce a high magical barrier.[1]

The Vambrace Artefact, and its Conjuring Armor and Weapons, are all made of a starmetal, a type of metal alloy that is like silver, but even more advanced than mithril as it breaks to nothing. The starmetal armor can effortlessly block a Tier 5 spell.[1]

The Artifact is cloaked from [Detect Magic] like Spells.[4]
