First Appearance

Chapter 9.54 C

Itimen is a notable [Alchemist] known for wild experiments.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

He has white hair and is balding, huge eyes, dark teeth, and a scar down one cheek. He wears spectacles flecked with dirt. He resembles a crazy sicentist.

Personality[edit | edit source]

He believes that [Alchemists] should create new things, and dislikes copying the same potion. His laboratory is chaotic and dirty.

Background[edit | edit source]

Itimen gained his levels from constant experimentation, and claims to have discovered more useless potions and interesting reactions than anyone else. He invented a potion of youthfulness, and it was purchased by Saliss, who distilled it back into reagents to develop their own recipe for a potion of temporary youth.[1]

Chronology[edit | edit source]

Rhaldon ran deliveries for Itimen, one of his regular clients. They discussed how to safely transport Corusdeer horns, and Rhaldon suggested freezing them. Later, Rhaldon asked questions about alchemy from his clients, and Itimen told him he should experiment and make new discoveries rather than follow procedures, while experimenting in an attempt to create a new healing potion. Afterwards he told Rhaldon his method to avoid exhaustive stirring - a stirring stick operated via waterwheel, purchased postcards of Erin's beach with ladies posing, and showed his method of purifying ingredients - the use of his Skills.

Rhaldon told Itimen of the scandal at Pallas' Alchemist Guild, of the Guildmaster writing false information about ingredients. He also told him of his new acid-based distillation and his new potion. He thanked Rhaldon and offered his own notes in return.[1]
