Needs update

Mental deficiency? Low intelligence? Only good for hard labor? I'm baffled that anyone thought this was an appropriate handling of the character. Durene is not stupid. She's naive, and uneducated, yes, even somewhat immature, but not stupid, or mentally deficient. She can answer the question "how would you feel if you hadn't eaten breakfast this morning?" without insisting that she did, in fact, have breakfast that morning. Is she fit to be a general? No. Is she only fit for "manual labor" because any other role is too "complex" for her? No. I'd be shocked if she couldn't pass a patrolman's exam to be a beat cop, for instance. That may be damning that exam, but that's irrelevant. She's not a glorified forklift that requires food and sleep!
