Devail is a Leveling Undead composed of flesh and scale, and Az’kerash's 6th Chosen.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
He looked like a tall[1] Drake-suit, with empty sockets that have glowing lights in them to mimic eyes,[2] and a body composed only of skin, scale, flesh, muscle and sinew, but no bones.[1]
Personality[edit | edit source]
He is a fighting maniac, and enjoice practising with his creator. He is also an idiot.[1]
Background[edit | edit source]
After Az’kerash learned how to make his creations Leveling, he made Devail unlike the others 5 old Chosen. He had taken only flesh and scale to make him as an experimental undead, but with his potential in mind.[1]
Chronology[edit | edit source]
While Az’kerash, with Belavierr help, was having a training session with the old Chosen in the ballroom, Devail came by to tell him that he had finished studying the books about the style of Albezian war mages. He then asked him if the he was to learn to fight now, which Az’kerash confirmed by having Devail practice duelling with him.
He would later find Toren and ask him about the broom, as cleaning makes no sense to him. He also asked him if he wants to fight, but turned away when Toren shook his head for a no.[1]

- Undead Physiology: As an undead Devail is not limited by the same needs of the living like; eating, sleeping, breathing, etc.
- Boneless Body Physiology: As he has no bones in his body, being only just enchanted flesh, his is capable of:[1]
- Lightweight Movement: He is so light that he could leap across a ballroom and touch a ceiling fifty feet up. This also makes him incredible fast.[1]
- Enhanced Speed & Agility: He can attack with a speed and ferocity other species could never match.[1]
- Body Adjustment / Flat Body: He can reconfigure his body in any number of ways, like collapsing to be as thin as a hand, and nearly as flat as paper, to fit into incredibly narrow spots or sliding in cracks, like under a door, before unfolding himself.[1][2]
- Lightweight Movement: He is so light that he could leap across a ballroom and touch a ceiling fifty feet up. This also makes him incredible fast.[1]
- Swordsmanship: While for now he was simple in fencing as he had to learn the styles of Albezian war mages—and then adapt to it, with his unique physiology he has the potential of becoming the ultimate fencer.[1]
