Magical quills

From The Wandering Inn Wiki

Magical quills or magic quills refer to a type of magical artifact usually used for administrative or minesterial purposes by the inhabitants of Innworld. They may appear with slight deviation in ability or usage.

Usage edit edit source

Inkless Writing edit edit source

Some magical quills do not require ink to write.[1] Others exist where they need to be dipped into an inkwell to magically link the ink to the quill for continuous writing.[2]

Automatic Transcription edit edit source

A common use for magical quills is to automatically transcribe spoken words or dictation. Wistram Academy is known to produce and sell magical quills that allow for autonomous transcription of spoken words.[3]

The copying of books is possible, though slow compared to a printing press according to Erin Solstice.[4]

Communication edit edit source

With the aid of magic or a magic wand, magical quills can be manipulated to write words[5] or draw sketches for battle planning or lessons.[3]
