Magicore, also known as Mana Sludge, is a type of mana-infused rock.[1] If the right magics is applied to it, it can turn it into a mana stone of unrivaled quality.[1] It takes years or decades for the mana sludge to slowly condense and crystallize into mana stones.[1] Magicore can be found in mountain veins in its liquid form. The value of Magicore lies on the purity and free-form of the 'liquid'.
Known Magicore Attuned Elements: Earth, Fire, Thunder, Light, Void, Acid, Poison, Aether.

Raw Magicore has the appeareance of a transparent sludge, its potential is shaped by the type of magic applied to it.

It's hinted by [Golem Makers] as a type of conductive material for magic on the circuitry of Golems.[2]
In warfare, magicore-tipped projectiles are used to drain magical barriers.[3]
In its raw state, it can absorb the quality of a Djinni if consumed, becoming attuned to their element but also taking away their memories. Because of this interaction, it is used to torture Djinni.[4]
Magirite is a standard unit of measurement around raw magicore that is used to calculate the intensity of a spell.[5]
