Personality edit edit source

Even beyond most [Slave Masters] Riqre was true evil and insanity.[2] He had no limits on what he would do to punish [Slaves] or even for entertainment. He had one slave repeatedly kill the zombied forms of his parents. He turned others into [Carrion Eaters], and many others were made to change their classes and personalities or suffer horrendous consequences.[2]

Background edit edit source

Chronology edit edit source

Igheriz's caravan encountered Riqre while heading to Roshal. He soon demonstrated his depravity, and then invited them to his keep. There he taught Igheriz how to torture Azam'du, and attempted to "improve" Pisces by harming the other slaves and making Pisces fix their bones to his specifications, encouraging more gruesome experiments. Eventually, Eloque broke open one of the jars he sealed people into, who them broke open more jars and freeing more victims, until eventually they overran the keep. Riqre was last seen facing his vengeful victims, seemingly unconcerned with the danger he was in and asking if they loved him. He did not escape the keep, which was later destroyed by Roshal.[2]

Riqre's soul was seen in Hellste, his form twisted and flowing with the other souls of sinners.

When the Grand Design brought the Goblin souls out of Hellste, Riqre made a case that he and those like him should also be given a second chance and removed from Hellste. The Grand Design rejected his argument, stating that this was the cost of the power gained from the acts he embraced.[3]

Quotes edit edit source

  • (To Pisces) “Pisces. Ah, Pisces. You wound me. Am I that unsubtle? Sometimes. Yes, sometimes the hammer is needed instead of the brush, but I am adept at both things. I know you. You are unruly. Angry. You see, Igheriz? All defiance. Not trained at all. Nearly completely wild.”
