Samal

From The Wandering Inn Wiki

Samal, also called the Kingdom of Keys, is a Terandrian kingdom and one of the utopias of the world.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Samal is a paradise, which does not have to worry about crime and monster attacks. Its safety is built upon its doorways and keys. The outer layer is a gateway that must be broken through or entered with a key, beyond which lie fields and farmlands. There are inner gateway, each part of the kingdom being a passageway into the next. Within the safety of its borders, Samal grows plentiful crops.

The citizens have taken their use of keys to an extreme, to the point of paranoia. To be great in Samal is to have a key to everything in the kingdom, and to be poor is to only have a key to few things.[1] Even swords need keys to be unsheathed.[2]

Samal has a knight order, the Pregaris Knights, who hold classes like [Keybearer Knight]. As Samal is exceptionally safe from monsters, bandits and other outside threats, they have little to do and are bored.[3]
