Dorhmin

From The Wandering Inn Wiki
(Redirected from Sea-ogre)

Dorhmin, also called Sea-Ogres, are a species of humanoid sea people, commonly considered Monsters.[1]

Physiology edit edit source

Appearance edit edit source

Dorhmin are scaly, slimy eelish-reptile humanoids with bulbous pupilless, jade-green eyes.[1] Their skin is like shark denticles, and they have tails, long limbs with finned hands and flipper-like feet. Fins run down their backs to their tails, and they have more webbed fins under their armpits. They possess sharp teeth, blubbery lips, two nostrils, and their hair resembles seaweed. They are large when fully mature.[2][3] Their tears are yellow.[4]

Physical Qualities edit edit source

Dorhmin are aquatic and can breathe underwater. They can breathe air but make a ss-loughing sound when doing so.[1]

Special Abilities edit edit source

Dorhmin are naturally able to see auras.[2]

Weaknesses edit edit source

They are a levelless species.[2]

Culture edit edit source

Dorhmin are a primitive people. They have their own language and can build and use basic tools like spears and nets while also capable of using rudimentary tactics.[1] They cannot operate ships as they do not understand rigging but can paddle the broken shells of ships underwater.<ref name=":1">

Most people don't know about the intelligence of Dorhmin and treat them as a smarter species of monster, or analogous to Goblins.
