Tessia is revealed to have been one of the buried villagers on Riverfarm, after the avalanche. Laken recalled that she'd had a shard of wood buried in her leg when they had dug her up from the snow. Laken first finds out her name when Gamel introduces her during their work to build more houses.^[2]
