Thaina is an a Antinium Soldier, a Painted Antinium, and one of two [Acolytes] serving under Pawn.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
She has her name written on the front of her body.[1] Her carapace is a patchwork of colors due to proximity to Xrn's wild magic. Her eyes are transparent, with an echo of color.[2]

She is a Soldier Antinium and was one of two survivors of one of the regular (always disastrous) attacks on Liscor's Dungeon. She and Chesacre, badly injured, started to dance after the dungeon raid was over and no enemy was left standing. They encountered the head-stealing Snatcher, but were saved by a skeleton,[3] and returned miraculously to Liscor's hive.
They were afterward classified as Autonomous, if not Individual. After they returned to the hive, they named themselves using the alphabet in Pawn's social room and wrote their names onto the front of their carapaces. In an oversight, Klbkch was not apprised of this development, but once he learned of it, he considered them valuable while still not changing his attitude towards using excess Soldiers in raids.[1]
