==Appearance==
Apista is a little bit bigger than the size of two hands joined together, which is larger than the average Ashfire Bee which are as big as a hand.<ref name="6.08">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/16/6-08/ Chapter 6.08]</ref> Her stinger was originally a little barb, but it was enhanced, becoming bigger with a crimson tint after Lyonette gained the [Crimson Stinger].<ref>{{VERef|5.45}}</ref>

She lost a wing and some of her legs at the [[Meeting of the Tribes]]. Later, she was given tiny peg legs and artificial wings, sent by [[Niers Astoragon]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2022/12/11/interlude-the-first-and-last-of-us/ Interlude - The First and Last of Us]</ref> 

In her Ashbringer Scourgebee form, Apista is much larger, with six legs and four wings. Her fur is bright orange, and her stinger is described to be "like the death of faces."<ref>{{VERef|10.15}}</ref>
