The Az'muzarre Tribe is one of the oldest and most important Gnoll tribe. == Overview == The Az'muzarre tribe is an old and traditionalist tribe. They act as guardians and officiators for the Gnoll Tribes. The Meeting of the Tribes takes place on their territory, and they preserve the peace during the event. They are famous for their Dragonbone relics. == Background == Long ago, they slew the dragon Muzarre, and so were named Az'muzarre, "The slayers of Muzarre". From his body, they fashioned weapons and armor. With those armaments, they reclaimed their lands from the Dragons, and throughout history they've fought off incursions into the Great Plains by Drakes and Humans. They lost several of their weapons as time passed, but still fulfilled their duties. They've successfully protected the Meeting of the Tribes for a thousand years. During the First Antinum War, they were the ones to rally the other tribes to fight off the Black Tide. == Chronology == Az'muzarre greeted and escorted the other tribes as they arrived at the Meeting of the Tribes. When the Raskghars were presented before them, they wanted to kill them immediately. When a White Gnoll was discovered at the Meeting, and the tribes began discussing the fates of Doombearers, learning the origins of their legend of misfortune, and picking a camp over the issue, the Az'muzarre Tribe sided with the Plain's Eye Tribe and their stance that Doombringers should be killed. When hostilities broke out, they attacked the tribes defending the white gnolls until the Drake armies started their assault. Some of their warriors were defeated by Antinium [Crusaders] unintentionally summoned by Sserys, and their [Chieftain] was felled by the Sharkcaptain of Waves. Following the Battle of the Great Plains, the tribe was severely weakened and in disgrace. == Strength == Despite their venerable status, they are smaller than the other great tribes. Most of their martial capabilities are derived from the Dragonbone relics they wield. Adetr Steelfur was not impressed by their individual prowess without them within his [Analysis: Vision of Greatest Battle], though otherwise they can destroy the Steelfur Tribe in seconds. They still owned eleven Dragonbone weapons and four armors made of Dragon's hide and bone at the start of the Meeting of the Tribes. They likely have even less now with Battalion 1 of Liscor's new army looting gear from some of their warriors after defeating them. They've lost at least one mace and one spear. They have also tamed a baby Roc, a gigantic bird of legends. == Members == === Known Members: === * Virreg - [Relicbearer Skyhunter] *Kuzait - [Warrior] === Former Members: === * Reizet - [Chieftain] (Deceased) == Trivia == == References == <references />
