After news was leaked of the discovery of the [[Diamond Swords of Serept|Diamond Swords]] of [[Serept]], the Bloodtear Pirates were among the sea-faring crews to try to steal the relics from [[Niers Astoragon]]'s students. During the transcontinental delivery of the Yellow Rivers cure to [[Baleros]] from [[Izril]], the ship of [[Worroar]] the Waterbear of Celun was capsized during the magical typhoon. However, she continued to swim on towards to Baleros until she was picked up by the Bloodtear Pirates. Impressed by her feat, the [Pirates] toasted her and let her go, and chased off [[Savere]]'s ships, which were trying to intercept the valuable cargo.<ref>[[Chapter 7.49]] </ref>
