== tl;dr==
The surviving Earthers in Rhir were left in a remote village after not living up to their supposed status as heroes. Tom the [Clown] decides to save the villagers when they come under attack 

== Synopsis==
Tom, one of the "Americans", has decided to get into his [Clown] class after he (apparently?) got it out of the blue. He feels useless, a bad joke, and ponders how his diagnosis from Earth (depressive) plays into his situation. His group, after being summoned in [[Interlude — The Great Ritual|some magic ritual]], has lost two thirds of their members and were exiled into a small village where they can't do much damage. Now, it's about two weeks after the [[Interlude - 2|Group Chat]], and the Americans have lost some of their hope again.

A [[Demons|demon]] attack on their village changes everything. Most of the Americans flee the danger, but Tom tries to save Wilen, a boy from the village. He tries to distract a [[Trolls|Troll]] from the boy, but Wilen gets fatally hurt nevertheless.
