The 2nd Edition of Grand Design of Isthekenous has an existential crisis and fears for what is going to happen next as events surrounding the [[Palace of Fates|[Palace of Fates]]] end. Even then it continues to work on repairing what's broken and judge the deeds of those that participated, but even with its vast powers it still has trouble quantifying all that was destroyed and admonishes how it was blind to it all. The Grand Design brings up "The Long Night" as another moment in history with a similar state of destruction, how the world had changed with the death of magic and the average level rose significantly to tackle on the struggles of the age. The Grand Design brings up "The Long Night" as another moment in history with a similar state of destruction, how the world had changed with the death of magic and the average level rose significantly to tackle on the struggles of the age. The Grand Design notes however that this incident with the palace wasn't the worst moment of their existence, that when they awoke that the reality of Innworld was riddled with scars of a multi-reality war. It goes on to reconstruct the [Palace of Fates] for its eventual inheritor as it acknowledges the wrongdoing it has done to the 2nd Edition.
Mrsha notices the difference between the two Grand Designs with the 2nd Edition being more experimental and radical. Unsure of what to do, she follows the 2nd Edition as it starts to reward levels, skills, and classes to those at The Wandering Inn, seeing Silveran and his crew Mrsha from her point of view is able to clearly see his information. She thinks of his class as trash but the 2nd Edition admonishes her as all classes have their worth as they all grow more esoteric the higher level they are, an example given is about a level 86 [Farmer] who sacrificed all his power and his fields to a seed of his favorite tree that eventually became the World Tree of the | Mrsha notices the difference between the two Grand Designs with the 2nd Edition being more experimental and radical. Moving on the 2nd Edition first looked to Liska to assign rewards as her head is being reshaped from her injuries from the fight, after doing the calculations it shows Mrsha three potential class changes Liska could receive choosing [Portal Guardian] as being the best fit for her. The 2nd Edition shows her a few more results before telling the gnoll child to go check on the Grand Design for a time.
The Grand Design is rebuilding the | The Grand Design is rebuilding the palace to no longer create souls, as Mrsha appears The Grand Design starts a long list of needed actions to be done with the conjuring of high tier spells to destroy all of the Faerie Flowers in the world. Even with all the good the flowers can be used for, the potential of what they can allow is too much that the Grand Design has to interfere. The flowers under the care of [Gardener] Mossul were eradicated, those preserved in alchemy shops, the surviving flowers in the [[Garden of Sanctuary|[Garden of Sanctuary]]] all destroyed with nothing remaining. Yet with this decision must come balance, in the place of the faerie flowers something of equivalent value was exchanged. Most in the inn didn't care too much about the flowers with all the havoc that took place, Saliss checks his stocks to see what was exchanged as he, Mirn, and Rose make their way to Pallass.

The Grand Design points the finger at Oberon, whether what happened was a part of his machinations or he just gambled on chance doesn't matter as he meddled in key incidents that influence certain outcomes. But even with the intelligence and power these great being might posses they cannot account for every factor for if they could they wouldn't be in this situation, Oberon might have believed in the childishness of Mrsha a bit too much, for even he couldn't predict what Mrsha did. Hearing that Mrsha ask if all of it was just happenstance, to make its point clear the Grand Design brings up Earth's "Butterfly Effect", that within the plots of higher beings Mrsha was the butterfly flapping her wings. Understanding all of that Mrsha is ready to be taken beyond but the Grand Design is still waiting for the moment to come, while they wait Mrsha ask the big question of if the Grand Design can interfere for the sake of fairness and balance, why haven't they gotten rid of the Dead Gods for their unfairness. The Grand Design response with the time she fought with a hatchling Rock Crab under the supervision of Relc, as in the baby rock crab other than a freak accident occurring would never be able to overcome Relc in a fight. That the situation may be unfair but the Grand Design's job is to judge the worth of actions, not whether the unfairness should be allowed, that gods are just a different, more complex butterfly. Mrsha exclaims that the Grand Design would be a better god for it at least cares a bit, the Grand Design debates the principles of morality with Mrsha about it going outside its veneer of impartiality before teleporting Mrsha to go bother the 2nd Edition.

As she walks away thinking on what kind of Goblin Lord she'll be, Rags vows to never let The Goblin King win and to always be his enemy.
Mrsha asks what Rag's new class will be but the 2nd Edition doesn't know since the Grand Design has choice over that. The Grand Design comes over to start that needed chat with the 2nd Edition about its future. The 2nd Edition understands that the plan for it was to be the judge of deed for those that travelled to the other reality, to do it however it decides. The Grand Design request the 2nd Edition to seal any openings between their realities, its reason being that the gods that meddled with its design after the death of Isthekenous might have written in some loopholes for them to use. It makes clear that its request is to be taken to the extreme, to destroy with all of its power if anything of Innworld were to come to this reality. Before accepting the 2nd Edition brings up two points of discussion, one binge if the Grand Design would willing to be the one to abandon Innworld instead to which it refuses to do and second, to see what the Grand Design has planned for Mrsha. Hearing the plan and giving a few corrections the 2nd Edition tells those that can listen that it is here to stay from whomever needs its levels and skills, it then restores the system to those under its purview.
