== Synopsis ==
[[Erin Solstice|Erin]] talks [[Pawn]] out of his funk, with some difficulty, and is informed and surprised about [[Lyonette du Marquin|Lyonette’s]] lost class. She tells him that sometimes people want to be alone and not have someone help, and that that’s okay. Pawn reluctantly agrees, but at the same time is of the quiet opinion that Erin doesn’t fully grasp the situation. After Erin leaves he confides in his flock about his turmoil and how while Erin is like the sky for him and the Antinium, she isn’t a ''friend''. For him that is only Lyonette, his only friend. 

Upon [[Purple Smile]]’s suggestion he and Pawn visit [[Krshia Silverfang|Krshia]] to ask for advice. Hearing the story the gnoll breaks out in laughter at the situation and hastily calms the indignant Pawn down: Erin’s advice is good, but shows the innkeeper’s age. She advises to act differently. 

Meanwhile Lyonette rants at Pisces. He saw through the issue and wonders if Erin did when Purple Smile arrives and leads Lyonette into the [[Free Hive|hive]]. Pisces sets an undead [[Shield Spiders|Shield Spider]] to surreptitiously follow. 

The two pass a room of memories before they arrive at the barracks, and Pawn. He apologises and reveals a ball gown, which makes her realise this is a setup for a ball. Lyonette explodes at Pawn, that he doesn’t have the right to do this to her. Pawn argues that despite her protestations to the contrary she is suffering. And that for others he would give them space, but not for Lyonette, who is his friend. He mentions how Krshia insisted on him telling Lyonette how much he felt, how he liked her more than Erin. Lyonette realises Pawn likes her romantically and, considering Pisces words before, that she might like him back. Hesitantly and under Lyonette’s lead the two start dancing, even without music or fancy clothes. 

They discuss ‘like’ and ‘love’ and her loss of class, what it means to be a princess, to have subjects, and how it doesn’t gell with working as a Barmaid. A couple Antinium want to join and partner up with Pawn to learn to dance, but Purple Smile intervenes and teaches them instead. 

After the dance is over and Lyonette returns she wonders how she isn’t smitten with Pawn, not how she was before with her crushes, but at the same time is aware that what she feels for him is not just liking him. She admits to herself that she’s hoping to get her princess class back, but has no faith in it. At the inn she turns in early and her Princess class is restored and consolidated with others to [Worldly Princess]. 

The next morning Pawn visits Lyonette and offers to leave her alone to stop bothering her. She refuses his departure and teaches him some what the difference is between like and love. The two decide together to see if they are indeed in love and what that means.
