Chapter 5.37 G is the 40th chapter of Volume 5, and the 18th chapter of Book 8, Blood of Liscor. The G stands for Goblins. == tl;dr == Greydath and Garen fight. Rags escapes Tyrion, but Rags' tribe is forced out of the city they occupied. == Synopsis == At the goblin mountain the goblins flee in full panic, among them Goblin Lord Reiss. He gives them a focal point to follow instead of simply scattering. The gold-ranked teams continue hunting mountain goblins, leaving the Goblin Lord to Elia Arcsinger. Two of the teams find and engage Garen and recognises him. They pressure him dearly as Tremborag in monster form intervenes, scattering and running after one team. The other team falls victim to Greydath. He and Garen fight, during which Greydath tests his mettle. He finds Garen lacking in leadership and goblin-hood. Greydath leaves, but first he directs Arcsinger’s attention at Garen without showing himself to her. As Garen flees he stumbles over some of his Redfangs, impressed with the killed adventurers, and leaves the mountain with them. At Riverfarm Lord Tyrion receives news about the ongoing attack at the goblin-held city. He orders his soldiers to let Rags and company run, which Emperor Laken forcefully disagrees with. After clarifying, Laken is mollified with regards to Tyrion’s soldiers, but insists on keeping the nobles at Riverfarm for questioning to clear up they weren’t involved with sending false orders to Laken’s army. Beheading may be on the table. On the way to the city Tyrion insults Rags’ fleeing goblins and there’s a minor clash. At his army’s command post he ascertains Pyrite’s and Rags’ class levels via artefact. He and General Wiskeria briefly confer. Then he has the city siege fireballed. The Flooded Waters tribe flees the city under cover of a Redfang counterstrike. Tyrion prepares to have the goblins cornered within the day. == Characters == * Elia Arcsinger * Reiss * Snapjaw * Eater of Spears * 4 Gold-rank Adventurers ** ? - [Shield Defender] (Deceased) ** ? - [Swordsman] (Deceased) ** ? - [Pyromancer] (Deceased) ** ? - [Light Mage] (Deceased) * Garen Redfang * [Rogue] Team (4 Rogues) ** Minerva ** Jackal * Tremborag * Greydath *? - Elia's Daughter * ? - Gold-rank [Witch] * Tyrion Veltras * Rags * Redscar * Laken Godart * Prost Surehand * Rie Valerund * Jericha (Name Revealed) * Sacra * Izril's Nobles ** Bevia Veniford ** Tourant ** Rael Veniford * Pellmia * Welca Caveis * Wiskeria * Pyrite * ? - Pellmia's Son (First Appearance) == Locations == * Izril ** Dwarfhalls Rest ** Riverfarm ** Lancrel == Creatures<nowiki/> == * Undead * Carn Wolves * Bismarck == Items == * Redfang * [Appraisal] Monocle == Statistics Obtained == === Rags === * Classes/Levels = [Chieftain] Lv. 24 (+4) * Skills = [Tribe: Rapid Reload] + [Flashfire Spellcraft] * Spells = [Burning Blades]
