== Properties ==
The composition of Demas Metal includes Orichalcum ore and some sort of sea-stone. It can be made in greater quantity than [[Adamantium]], [[Mithril]], or Orichalcum alloy items.

It's stronger and lighter than steel, and comparable to Mithril while being a bit heavier,<ref name=":0">[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/10/31/8-50/ Chapter 8.50]</ref> but lacks the elasticity to make bows out of it.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2022/04/13/8-79/ Chapter 8.79]</ref> It leaves an afterimage when striking with it.

It possesses a special ability, in which any liquid that comes into contact with it will form a second coating on top, giving weapons a longer reach and second edge, and making armour thicker.
