== Layout == The dwarven city is located within the mountains, accessible only via long crisscrossing tunnels and passages. The largest caverns had walkways with rough stone floors, but also balconies and alcoves of smaller caverns that connected to the large ones. The dwarven architecture was still visible after centuries, although dwarven statues had long since been smashed. Where goblins had damaged the original stone architecture during centuries of their occupation, they had built replacements and additional shortcuts with wood and rope. Under [[Tremborag]], all entrances to the tunnels were well-guarded. His throne room was located even deeper in what seemed to be the heart of the mountain. The city receives light from lanterns, but in the largest areas there are also furnaces to provide warmth and light to the inhabitants - it was also the place of Goblin [Blacksmiths].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/10/24/3-26-g/ Chapter 3.26 G]</ref>
