The Glass Straits is an expanse of land in Chandrar. == Overview == As the name implies, the Glass Straits is a large area covered in glass, which is a result of Chandrar's sun baking the top layer of sand into glass. During the day, the sun heats the glass up into unbearable temperatures. There is little to no vegetation, while the wildlife has evolved to adapt in these harsh conditions. == History == The Glass Straits were created by Teriarch thousands of years ago, during the war against the Great Wyrms of Chandrar, when he used his killer move of turning his body into metal and crashing down from a high altitude as a dense meteor of Dragonfire. The impact had fused sand to glass, and the very desert caught fire and burned for eight days and nights. == Geography == The ground is sand mixed with glass, resulting in a lumpy surface with many colors. == Fauna == Most of the wildlife are made of glass or are able to survive in high temperatures. === Monsters: === * Crystal Lights *Glass Hares *Glass Termite === Elementals: === * Fire Elementals * Glass Elementals == Trivia == == References == <references />
