Goblinhome is the the Fortress of the Flooded Waters Tribe in the High Passes. == Layout == Goblinhome was built into the stone mountain, dug out by the Mountain City Goblins. It has wooden walls and a stone roof. There are three more walls within for defenses. It is expanding into another base. The interiors include sleeping quarters, both individual rooms marked by doors and familial spots for hundreds, a large eating space, kitchens large food stores, and new holding cells. They presumably have mines from which the Goldstone Goblins excavate ore for the tribe's metal production, and the gold and gems used for trading and traps. == Defenses == === Fortress === The fortress has four walls to break through. Behind the first layer of traps is a massive ballista dubbed the Wyvernkiller. At the second wall, there are overhanging holes in the fortress' ceiling from which boulders can be dropped via Bags of Holding. The third wall has nets, barriers of stone for warriors to hide behind, and installations of Thunderbows and Roarwings. The fourth wall has a kill zone also defended by those siege weapons. Inside the fortress, there are inner tunnels, choke points, and layers of traps. The roof of the fortress has a dozen disguised hatches for defenders to exit from and retreat within. Those hatches lead into chambers secured by reinforced doors that can be sealed and turned into backdraft-based fire traps for invaders breaking in. There are also surrounding bunkers and camouflaged arrow slits. There is a hidden tunnel nearby from which the Carn Wolf riders can sally out from. === Perimeter Defenses === Further away from the fortress are six hidden sentry outposts armed with Thunderbows. They are equipped with escape routes, and reinforced blankets to block out swarms of bugs from the High Passes. There are also trap hills with crossbowmen lying in wait, and a cliff with a Thunderbow mounted there, operated by a [Greatbow Sniper]. === Traps === There are numerous traps and deterrents the tribe has placed around the High Passes to stay safe and prevent other species from discovering Goblinhome's location. * Pitfall traps into spikes. * Hundreds of fake Creler eggs. * The "poo technique" higher up from the fake eggs. * Piles of gold and jewels over a pitfall trap with a secret passage nearby for a goblin ambush. Also called "stupid adventurer traps #2 and #7". == Trivia == == References == <references />
