The roof of the fortress has a dozen disguised hatches for defenders to exit from and retreat within. Those hatches lead into chambers secured by reinforced doors that can be sealed and turned into backdraft-based fire traps for invaders breaking in. There are also surrounding bunkers and camouflaged arrow slits. There is a hidden tunnel nearby from which the Carn Wolf riders can sally out from.<ref name=":0" />
