He became fascinated by Emperor [[Laken Godart|Laken]] and turned out to become a friend during their voyage towards Riverfarm. He split from Laken to mobilize his forces in order to help him, but it turned out that Drake Saboteurs had struck in his hometown as well, and poisoned his prized dogs.
