The Greenpaw Tribe is a Gnoll tribe. == Overview == The Greenpaw Tribe is an agricultural tribe, and had their own land which they tended for generations. They grew a variety of crops, and a lot of cash crops as well, like Sage’s Grass, in a small plot carefully watched for signs of infestation, alchemical herbs and even a small orchard. Their land is located in a good spot to grow their fields, with foothills and a lake that gave the Greenpaws all the water they might need. The lake was secluded in a small basin, and the Gnolls fished there for food. Their fields are vast. Despite all of this, their food was not always worth much in a world of Skills, which made them among the most poor among the other Gnoll tribes. Worst of all, they have constant bad luck, like poor harvest and a Creler infestation that ruined their fortunes, to the point that other tribes called them cursed. == Background == A few months before the Greenpaw begin marching for the Meeting of Tribes, they had a poor harvest, and later Creler eggs ended in their fields, infesting them. They ate everything and tunneled up ruining their fortunes, before the Greenpaw dealt with them. Then two months before their departure for the Meeting of Tribes, an Earther's Passenger Airplane violently fell in the forest near their secluded lake, caught on fire, and would have burned down the entire forest if the Greenpaw [Shamans] hadn't barely contained the flames. Greenpaw then found the broken and burned wreck of the Airplane, and four buried Humans bodies within. They buried them in their grounds, and then proceed to search the wreck. They found many Earther's artifacts, mostly broken, and despite being an ill thing to take items from the dead, due to them being desperate from their latest series of bad luck, took them. They paid for scrolls of [Repair] for them, but could not repair everything. They were able to get some electronics, clothing, money, books and other objects. Still, they found it strange that they found so many possessions for just four people when there were enough for dozens more. == Chronology == ==== Volume 7: ==== The Greenpaw Tribe was first introduced when following Inkar on her journey to the Gnollmoot. The tribe first shared their knowledge of the broken airplane with Longstalker's Fang Tribe and the Ekhtouch Tribe in order to help broker alliances and gain more information about what they had truly found. ==== Volume 8: ==== Through careful trading of Earther secrets, they were able to expand their alliance to include the Silverfang Tribe as well. As the Meeting of the Tribes continued, the Greenpaw Tribe continued to expand their alliance network to include the Demas Metal Tribe who were interested in the types of metal that came from the airplane. == Members == The tribe consists of barely two hundred Gnolls in all. === Known Members: === * Orelighn - [Chieftain] *Dolegroh - Elderly [Shaman] == Trivia == == References ==
