The Helm of Fire is Relic-class Artifact. It is the headpiece of the Heartflame Set. ==Appearance== ==Background== Unlike the rest of the Heartfame Set, the Helm was enchanted with the help of the Gnolls in a period when they and the Drakes weren't hostile with one another. ==Chronology== The first hint toward the Helm was given by Selys leveling up in [Heiress]. She got a unique skill <span style="color:#99cc00;">[Legacy Whispers: Heartflame Set]</span> which told her the following riddle: <blockquote> To find the helm of fire, Look to deathβs ire; That village without rest, Where the Putrid One met his death. </blockquote> The Horns of Hammerad tracked this down to the Village of the Dead, and set up a raid to get this artifact from the death zone. Near the end of the raid, a powerful revenant formerly under the Putrid One's control came to the forefront and killed the other powerful revenants that were still loyal to the Putrid One. His motivations were not completely altruistic, though. Before he would give up his life, the Drake challenged the adventurers present to strike him once. Many tried and many died or were maimed in doing so, but at the perfect moment of distraction, Seborn managed to nick the drake with his dagger, ending the slaughter. With this, the Drake turned into dust leaving behind just his gear which included the Helm of Fire. The Horns of Hammerad had a strong claim on the Helm of Fire given that getting rights to the Helm was their original goal and condition for the raid, though the team was missing after the battle. Once they came back, Ceria distributed the loot such that the Helm would be auctioned off to give all of the adventuring teams a big profit for the raid.It was sold at auction to the emperor of Sands for Two million four hundred and thirty-one thousand gold pieces. ==Enchantments== Teriarch states that it had Skill enchantments, providing free Skills to the wearer. ==Owners== ===Previous Owner:=== *Unnamed Revenant Drake [Dragonbane Swordlegend] ===Current Owner:=== * Emperor of Sands ==Trivia== ==References==
