The [Hero] class is one of the most powerful classes in Innworld. ==Requirements== Originally, one could obtain the class at level 60 from a [Warrior] class, before the Grand Design changed the requirements. Obtaining the [Hero] is related to the belief and admiration of others. If many people believe someone to be a hero, then they will obtain the class. This belief is also required to level up as a [Hero], regardless of other acomplishments. It's believed that you can lose the class if no one sees the class holder as a hero anymore. There is one more requirement necessary to obtain the class, which is that the hero needs a prophecy. ==Powers and Abilities== The [Hero] class is one of the most powerful in Innworld, and is treated as comparable at level 20 to another combat class at level 40. Their power is so potent that even the offspring of a high level [Hero] will grow up to be significantly stronger and more capable than normal. It also levels the bearer's other classes much faster. As Isthekenous wrote into the Grand Design on [Heroes], they can cheat. ===Derived Classes=== *[Hero of Laughter and Grief] *[Hero of String] *[Hero of Zethe, Foe of Nations] ==Known Heroes== *Thomas Trautmann *Doubte *Richard Davenport *Elucina (Deceased) *Emily *Antal Fekete *Arden *Beclaire *Correy *Cynthia (Class Lost) *Edward *Hapi *Jie *Johnson *Katie *Keith (Class Lost) *Loreto *Marian (Deceased) *Miloslav *Nerrain (Deceased) *Red (Class Lost) *Reyanne (Deceased) *Ron (Deceased) *Roodney *Stacy *Thorne *Vincent (Deceased) ==History== The [Hero] class was conceived early in the creation of Innworld, with the various gods having different ideas as to what they could be and what benefits or restrictions they might have, including from Isthekenous himself. When the Grand Design was activated, it changed its class prerequisites, which it saw as too basic. The Hundred Heroes of Terandria became legend in ancient times, and founded the continent's various royal dynasties. Elucina the Rebel of String was the hero that succesfully freed the String People from slavery. The Heromakers of Hraace on Chandrar are knowledgeable in creating and training [Heroes]. Six centuries ago, Oteslia produced a notable [Hero]. This [Hero] would destroy a neighbouring city. While under Terandrian occupation, Hraace raised two heroes to free them, but they both failed and died. In recent times, the [Hero] Doubte rose in Zethe, clearing out the Chemath Marble mines and defending his nation until he grew to dislike his role. During the King of Destruction's campaign of conquest, a few [Heroes] arose to oppose him. However they were low levelled and were killed by Mars. Save for Doubte, who held the King's Seven back almost singlehandedly before going into hiding. The Blighted Kingdom initiated the ritual to summon the Earthers, thinking it would summon powerful heroes from another world. All the Earthers that arrived in the Blighted Kingdom were granted the [Hero] class. They were sent to fight the Demons, but over a third of them died. The Blighted Kingdom deemed the ritual a failure and sent the Earthers away to a remote village close to the 4th Wall, where most lost their [Hero] class. After Richard and Emily reached level 30 and Tom leveled as a [Hero], they reconsidered their assesment and recalled them to Paranfer. After Tom thwarted a Demon incursion to abduct the princesses and assassinate Othius, the Blighted Kingdom changed their approach to foster the [Heroes] instead. On the Summer Solstice, they enacted a second ritual on a larger scale to summon more Earthers, gaining a thousand new [Heroes] to be trained at a specialized academy. Doubte breifly resurfaced from hiding to join Fetohep as he headed to the Meeting of the Tribes. In Izril, he fought against Belavierr, and returned to anonymity afterwards, but his actions made his children even more restless and hungry for glory than they already were. This later prompted him to visit Hraace to arrange training for them. The Blighted Kingdom sent its first wave [Heroes] to the New Lands of Izril to help with colonization efforts and as a reward for their service. This is with the exception of Tom, who was instead sent to Baleros to help with the surging Dyed Lands, as punishment for his unruliness and antagonism. According to Pedagogia Araxia, the Empire of Sands has also created a [Hero]. ==Trivia== *The [Champion] class is the closest one to [Hero]. *It was initially stated that no-one in living memory had gained the class until the Earthers arrived. This would later turn out to be false. *While powerful, the children of [Heroes] rarely become [Heroes] themselves save to carry the mantle. ==References== Refbox
