She was raised by city gnolls but they were relatively new to Cellidel when Relc arrived.<ref name=":0" />

== Chronology ==
When Relc took his leave in Cellidel, he began training a few gnoll children at spearmanship. Hickery was the first of these children to gain a class and skill as she was a prodigy. She continued to train, and was soon arrested by Guardsman [[Possel]] for possessing a weapon. When her parents and Relc got her back, she was in tears. The parents were resigned to the situation, but when Relc returned to Liscor, he offered anybody that wanted the chance to return with him, and Hickery and her family were some of those to take the opportunity.<ref name=":0" />
