== Background ==
House Marquin was founded by [[Marquin]] the Radiant after she fought in [[Rhir]] during the [[Creler Wars]]. For her aid, she was awarded a Dragonthrone which she used to build her capital city around. After she founded the country, she never went to war again in her lifetime, relying on diplomacy to fight her battles. This is a trait that many of her descendants shared although it has led to an increasingly weak military through the generations.<ref name=":0"/>

== Strength ==
As the house leading the nation of Calanfer, they hold much of the power of the country.
