== Description ==
Kaalblade hilts look like rods made of wood and metal with a small button on the side. <ref name=":0" /><ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/12/13/7-62/ Chapter 7.62]</ref> When the button is pressed a small rod of metal extends from the hilt and a glowing blade made of magic appears. At least one blade is red-green in color and transparent at the edges.<ref name=":0" /> The blades have also been described as "oversized carrot peelers".<ref name=":1" /> They are lighter than most regular swords and are powered by mana stones.  Kaalblades are capable of cutting through most mundane metals as well as weak enchantments.<ref name=":0" />
