== Overview ==
The Kingdom of Trolls is located in the underground of the High Passes and the home of Trolls and a Troll Queen the Dulat of the Folk of Deep and Song.

== Geography ==
The Kingdom of Deep and Song is a network of caves in the underground of the High Passes. It features tunnels or highways that are hundreds of feet wide and similarly high, though some have now broken down and are blocked by rubble.<ref name=":0">{{VERef|The Roots (Pt. 4)}}</ref>

The core of the Kingdom are the caves that are inhabited by the Trolls. 

The Kingdom is close to the Old Gates. During the fight at the Solstice a gate was cut open.<ref name=":0" />

Among the more unique features of the caves is a sound system running through them via small holes and connection that make the Trolls capable of signalling via drum beats or even use them as an attack.<ref name=":0" />

Across the High Passes including the Pass that Magnolia Reinhardt is securing for ta second connection between North and South Izril Trolls have hidden entrances to caves that lead back to their Kingdom.<ref>{{VERef|10.21 E}}</ref>
== History ==
During the last great war of the underground, the Kingdom of Deep and Song was the place where the [[Gnolls]], [[Dwarves]] and Trolls resisted an invasion of the Izrillian underground by Drakes, Wyrms and Dragons on behalf of the [[Walled Cities|Walled City of Graves]], ''[[Liscor's Dungeon|Liskaldreth]]''. This was before Gnolls retook (part of) the surface. Some [[Goblins]] also observed the battles and even fought as mercenaries.<ref name=":0" />

Currently, the Trolls are at war against the scattered parts of an Old One that has emerged from the Old Gates.<ref name=":0" />

It is not clear how many Trolls live it the Kingdom yet, but it is likely at least a few hundred as they have rotating fighter units engaging the Old One parts and rooted the humans following [[Kevin Hall|Kevin]]'s group when they fled after [[Rags]]' raid on Tenbault.<ref name=":0" />
