== Background ==
Unlike [[Iron Vanguard]], which mainly has employed Dullahans, Maelstrom’s Howling mostly has Centaurs enlisted in their group, and it's made up of almost every semi-nomadic Centaur clan.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2022/07/10/9-05-npr/ Chapter 9.05 NPR]</ref> That said, many ''mounted'' soldiers can be found there as well.<ref name="1.00D"/>

As centaurs focus on rapid attacks and deployment and their group mainly consists of ones, they, too, specialize in fast strikes. They are known to first make their enemies feel secure and safe, but then their armies will suddenly come riding down on them during the night.<ref name="1.00D"/>

The company is supposedly not suitable for battles in jungles and elevated terrain.<ref name="1.00D"/>
