Also known as '''Adamantite''' and '''Adamantine'''. It is the toughest pure metal in Innworld. Appears deep red with fiery orange, may shift color depending on how light hits it,<ref name=":6" /> and is naturally dull unless polished. Heavier than steel.<ref name=":0" /> It does not rust or decay.<ref name=":6" />

Smithing it is a true sign of mastery<ref name=":0" />, and [Smiths] fight over Artifacts that will allow them work it. When being taught how to forge Adamantium, it is traditional for [Smiths] to forge a bit of it, and then toss it into magma. If it is whole when retrieved, that means it was forged correctly.<ref name=":3" />

A new magical alloy discovered by [[Mrell]] and named after his deceased mentor, the exiled [[Dwarves|Dwarf]] [Smelter] Demastel. Colored cloudy blue to violet depending on the weather and the position of the moons. It's composition includes Orichalcum and some sort of sea-stone. It can be made in greater quantity than Adamantium, Mithril, or pure Orichalcum items.

It's stronger and lighter than steel, and comparable to Mithril while being a bit heavier<ref name=":0">[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/10/31/8-50/ Chapter 8.50]</ref>, but lacks the elasticity to make bows out of it<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2022/04/13/8-79/ Chapter 8.79]</ref>. It leaves an afterimage when striking with it.

It possesses a special ability, in which any liquid that comes into contact with it will form a second coating on top, giving weapons a longer reach and second edge, and making armour thicker. Also known as '''Cridel''', the deadly blood of Baleros, is a red-gold crystal that cuts sharp and hurts whomever it touches. The crystal could cut mere steel, and its edge is so sharp that just laying it pointed down on an anvil, it cut into the iron. 

If a blade made from it and Truegold, is treated with care, it shall last a year of war. A decade without. A century if only worn about and carried like a heirloom. If the right magics is apply to it, it can turn it into a mana stone of unrivalled quality. When raw magicore is exposed to certain types of mana or other influences, it takes on a new nature defined by what it absorbs into itself. It can be used to extract the 'essence' of things like poison, electricity, and acid. It can also filter ambient mana from the environment, until it reaches capacity.
