Trained Necromancers often had safeguards in their creations such as death-words and Writs of Sealing. A death-word is a word that when used will immediatly destroy the undead and undo its magical bindings. A Writ of Sealing is a set of inviolible rules the undead must follow.<ref>{{VERef|10.13}}</ref>
