==Chronology==

===Volume 6===

Nicola was on a tour when she was transported from Italy to Innworld alongside fellow Italians [[Lorenzo]] and [[Diana]]. Their bus passed through a tunnel and they were suddenly transported to [[Baleros]].  Their group initially numbered eight plus two other earthers that spoke Spanish and that they believe were Venezuelan.

Something attacked their group the first night and the four survivors ([[Diana]], Blake, [[Lorenzo]], and [[Nicola]]) fled into the jungle. They fled to an abandoned village where they remained for an estimated three weeks before being found by the [[Bushrangers]] and brought to the [[United Nations|United Nation]]'s Headquarters.<ref name=":0" />

She helps to look out for her fellow Italians and is the first person who brings up that Diana is ill from lack of insulin.<ref name=":0" />

===Volume 8===

Nicola is part of a group (including Blake, Myron, and Andel) arguing about the future of the UN and whether they should go to Wistram, [[Rémi|Remi Canada]], or maybe the [[Cara O'Sullivan|Singer of Terandria]].  Some members of the UN are becoming unhappy with the current situation and feel there is a lack of democratic input because of the leadership council.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/11/14/8-51-d/ Chapter 8.51 D]</ref>
