Background[edit | edit source]

Nicola is from Italy and was transported with a group of other earthers to Baleros. She speaks broken English and has been helping fellow Italians Lorenzo and Diana communicate.[1]

Chronology[edit | edit source]

Volume 6[edit | edit source]

Nicola was on a tour when she was transported from Italy to Innworld alongside fellow Italians Lorenzo and Diana. Their bus passed through a tunnel and they were suddenly transported to Baleros. Their group initially numbered eight plus two other earthers that spoke Spanish and that they believe were Venezuelan.

Something attacked their group the first night and the four survivors (Diana, Blake, Lorenzo, and Nicola) fled into the jungle. They fled to an abandoned village where they remained for an estimated three weeks before being found by the Bushrangers and brought to the United Nation's Headquarters.[1]

She helps to look out for her fellow Italians and is the first person who brings up that Diana is ill from lack of insulin.[1]

The three Italians are thrilled to meet someone who speaks their language when Geneva returns to the United Nations.[2]

The new arrivals meet Luan after he returns from his latest row.[3]

Volume 8[edit | edit source]

Nicola is part of a group (including Blake, Myron, and Andel) arguing about the future of the UN and whether they should go to Wistram, Remi Canada, or maybe the Singer of Terandria. Some members of the UN are becoming unhappy with the current situation and feel there is a lack of democratic input because of the leadership council.[4]
