The Oracle of Elbe is what remains of a Cognizant-class Golem from the old Empire of Illivere. == Appearance == The Oracle is the Sela-ceramic head of a golem, broken at the neck. It resembles a stylized female humanoid and has horns, one of which is broken. == Personality == It is known for being a manipulative liar. It plays up its reputation as a remnant of old in possession of dangerous knowledge. It does not consider itself male or female. == Background == It was a Cognizant-Overseer golem from the old Empire of Illivere. It remembers the golem uprising and survived the event. It now rests within the old palace of Elbe, in a room with a mural that warns of the old Golem rebellion. First Crafters would often visit it to ask questions, and keep it up to date with the world. It used those opportunities to start bloody feuds, resulting in several riots and eighteen direct deaths. == Chronology == It met Nsiia when she entered its room, and answered some of her questions as well as intimidating her. Later, Ksmvr met it as well, but asked no questions and simply stayed for a certain amount of time. To its annoyance, he was only there to gain influence with the Crafters of Illivere by implying that it told him a secret, knowing that its notorious untrustworthiness meant this could not be disproven. == Powers and Abilities == It is able to control the lights in its room. As it has been reduced to a head, it can only trick and manipulate others with its words. But despite its reputation, it has no knowledge that could bring a nation to ruin, and is not a genius. == Trivia == * Femithain once beat it in a game of chess. == References == <references />
