== Personality ==
Pekona is not very talkative, mainly because her fluency in the common tongue isn't as great as other people's.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/24/5-05/ Chapter 5.05]</ref> She becomes even more reticent after her confidence in her blade-wielding abilities is shaken after the Village of the Dead raid and the Trial of Blades. Having beheld true legends of swordmanship in the [Dragonbane Swordlegend] and [[Zeladona Ischen]], she has become increasingly self-critical, and often claims that she is a "disgrace."  Despite that, after meeting the latter, Pekona's drive to improve has intensified, training obsessively with her blade and continuing as an adventurer, even with an arm missing.
