Upon the death of Gresaria, who died challenged the [[Assassin’s Guild]] in [[First Landing]], and whose sacrifice caused the Five Family and everyone else in the city harbour to fight the [Assassins], Regein would regain enough of his confused mind to captain the ''[[Pride of the Wellfar]]'', the greatest ship of Izril, and directly attack the Guild of Assassins' Headquarters. 

The [Assassins] would target him and succeed in killing him, but by then it would be too late for them as Regein had enough time to activate and unleash the great ship's stored magic attacks to obliterate the Assassins' Headquarters and killing all the [Assassins] within it.  This would include the majority, if not all, of the Assassin's Guild's remaining gold and artifacts that were stored within the headquarters.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/11/18/7-59/ Chapter 7.59]</ref>
