Reim is the capital city of Flos' kingdom. It is located in the northeastern part of Chandrar. Reim sigil and seal consist of a crown like the city itself, surrounded by a rainbow of seven symbols that represents the Seven, like a pair of dice, an eye, a growing plant... (Other symbols are currently unknown.) == History == A keep was first built 1500 years ago, at the place where Reim now stands. The place endured several renovations and three sackings before the current layout of the castle was drawn. That castle, Flos' residence, was built 800 years ago. === Under Flos Reimarch === Reim was never besieged during the reign of Flos Reimarch, as Flos was always on the offensive, and by the time other nations formed armies to attack, Reim sat at the heart of his empire, his bastion. So he have never had to defend it. Drevish had worked on the city, but he only did so once. And that was before they formed an alliance with the Mad Ones. He never installed siege fortifications for defense. In its heyday, while it never expanded beyond its walls, it was surrounded by tents and bazaars for tens of miles. == Geography == As it is mostly the case in Chandrar, desert and arid land surround Reim. == Layout == The city has a battlements that consist of decently tall walls and sixteen high watch towers, that jut out and placed at equal distances along the curtain wall, giving the impression of a crown, which is rather spoiled by the palace in the center. These towers would normally carry high-level archers and mages that could rain death upon an enemy. Chemath marble was used int heir construction and they're enchanted quite heavily, and Amerys aided in that. There's a tower made by Drevish called the sniper tower. It was over a hundred feet tall, and so enchanted a trebuchet couldn’t knock it down. He claimed that if you put only one archer in there, they could hold it forever with enough food. There are no entrances leading up, and if they used the cover of the walls, they could shoot down enemy mages and so on. As of Ch 4.04 K six of the towers have worn away over the last decade. == Military Strength == As of Ch 4.04 K, Reim's army has six thousand two hundred and fifty six soldiers, and possibly two thousand more from the refugees headed towards the city. Some of Flos' former vassals have rejoined the Kingdom, such as Parasol Stroll, the Serpent Hunters, the Nomads of the Sky and the Rustängmarder. According to Nsiia, this may not even be a tenth of the vassals still loyal to him. Thousands of Lizardfolk have joined Reim, with no Nagas among them, to see what they would evolve into under Flos' banner. They struggle in sandy terrain, but are a better asset along the coasts. Every living member of the Seven have rejoined Reim. === Former Vassals === Vassals that have yet to rejoin Reim: * The Mad Ones * Loquea Dree * The Monks of Sottheim * The Order of Glass == Buildings == * Flos' Castle * Storehouses == Notable Known Inhabitants == === Humans: === * Amerys * Flos Reimarch - King * Maresar Crusland <span style="color:grey;">(Deceased)</span> * Mars * Orthenon * Teresa Atwood * Trey Atwood *Venith Crusland === Half-Gazers: === * Gazi Pathseeker === Others: === * Invac == Trivia == * Although Drevish did work hard on this city, for all it was anathema to him, he did like the height of the towers. He believed in what he called self-sufficient architecture, buildings that didn’t need to be protected, that were capable of protecting themselves. == References == <references />
