A Demigod was buried under Rhir.

Rhir has had several cataclysms and blights originate from it.

[[Lucifen]] used to be the guardians of Rhir, but they became so corrupt that they were exiled<ref name=":0">[https://wanderinginn.com/2022/07/12/9-06/ Chapter 9.06]</ref> ten thousand years ago.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2023/04/01/interlude-stories/ Interlude - Stories]</ref>

Rhir was once abandoned, as other nations decided the hellish continent was best left alone. This would prove to be a mistake with the last cataclysm to come from Rhir, the emergence of [[Crelers]] six thousand years ago, which began the [[Creler Wars]].

[Archmages] tried to sink the continent during the Creler Wars, but it backfired.<ref name=":0" />

After a thousand years, the continent was reclaimed, and some of the heroes of the Creler Wars decided to found a kingdom there to keep watch and prevent another cataclysm from happening again. This would be the origin of the Blighted Kingdom.
