Rhir

From The Wandering Inn Wiki

Rhir, also known as the Blighted Continent, is a continent filled with dying lands and endless conflict between the local kingdoms. The three major powers in Rhir are the Blighted Kingdom, the Demons and the Antinium.

Overview[edit | edit source]

There are 3 main places on the continent: the Demon Kingdom, the Blighted Kingdom, and the Origin, a place where new monster species are constantly birthed.[1]

For thousands of years a magical sickness has spreading across the continent, resulting in half of it having been eaten away.[2]

There is a God buried in Rhir. And it is trying to wake up.[3]

History[edit | edit source]

A Demigod was buried under Rhir.

Rhir has had several cataclysms and blights originate from it.

Lucifen used to be the guardians of Rhir, but they became so corrupt that they were exiled[4] ten thousand years ago.[5]

Rhir was once abandoned, as other nations decided the hellish continent was best left alone. This would prove to be a mistake with the last cataclysm to come from Rhir, the emergence of Crelers six thousand years ago, which began the Creler Wars.

[Archmages] tried to sink the continent during the Creler Wars, but it backfired.[4]

After a thousand years, the continent was reclaimed, and some of the heroes of the Creler Wars decided to found a kingdom there to keep watch and prevent another cataclysm from happening again. This would be the origin of the Blighted Kingdom.

Geography[edit | edit source]

It is located to the northwest of Izril[6] and is by far the smallest continent.[7]

  • There have only been six recorded cases of the Wasting occurring in Selphids on Rhir since it was resettled six thousand years ago.[12]
